Editing Finished of Shoot One

This week i have mostly been editing pictures for the San Nails blog and the pictures from my Neon shoot. Finding semi professional models is still a big and strenuous job as their availability and reliability to respond cannot be relied on, so me and a few friends decided to scout loads of models on model mayhem and create a Facebook group solely dedicated to models. This means its an easy access hub for models to let us know when they can shoot and who is available.
I have also done product shots of nail varnishes and tools for my magazine this week so just need to crop and edit those ready for the tutorials.
These aren't my final edits as obviously they may change during the process of the rest of the magazine; I visited my tutor who is a photographer/retoucher and he advised my to play around a little more with a few of them as they didn't pop as much as the others did. Taking this into consideration I want to maybe investigate into having a 3D effect over the top of one or two of them to give it that extra Neon feel.

For the first shoot of the week, i have decided to use print in my magazine- a how to style print 3 ways. some people are quite scared to colour and print clash, but i want to create a fashion shoot using high street items that shows that it can work and depending on how you wear it it doesn't need to be scary! I have chosen 5 main outfits with clashing floral, chain, geometric prints that are very in season, inspired by the new H&M collaboration with Versace. With the make up i want to create a really tanned/bronzed/shimmery face, with use of golds and browns for contouring rather than blacks. My model is 6ft tall. ginger and pale skin so instead of tanning the whole body I want to just use the face and then create Aztec themed 'tan-lines' instead of too  much jewellery, by use of a stencil , paints bronzer or fake tan! I will have to test first. However I spoke to my MUA about this and she said it may over complicate the whole design and if her face is really bronzed and the rest of her body isn't, then it would look strange.
Here are the outfits I have put together and the inspiration behind my shoot.
